Invivo studies - IMMUNE BOOSTER for Pediatric Use



Mangement of URTI and a novel approach towards RSV infection 6 Juvenile chinchillas mice were taken in two groups of 3 each. Group A-Induced respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) alone, control group B was treated previously with S.I.V.A Herbal Tonic and the induced RSV virus.

After 5 days of infection, animals were sacrificed and histopathological observation was done.The untreated animals showed signs of acute respiratory tract infection.Nasal fluids were abnormal. Histology of nasal area showed areas of hyper-secretion.S.I.V.A Herbal Tonic treated animal remains normal and didn’t show signs of acute respiratory tract infection.

The protection of the polyherbal formulation treated group against the RSV infection could be attributed to its antiviral and immunomodulatory properties of the constituent medicinal plants in the formulation - S.I.V.A Herbal Tonic.
